HHD solicitors are pleased to announce the promotion of Fiona Sterritt to Partner.

Fiona joined HHD in 2000 and has worked in the personal injury litigation department throughout this time. She has extensive experience in medical negligence matters and other types of general litigation including road traffic accidents and trips or slips.

Fiona has been with HHD throughout her legal career, from apprenticeship to qualification and was promoted from solicitor to Associate Solicitor in November 2012.

This latest promotion increases the number of partners to four and includes the three principal founding partners of Matt Higgins, Michael Hollywood and Damian Deazley. Following the solicitor appointments of Vivienne O'Neill to the family practice, John O'Kelly to the criminal department and Lauren Jones to the litigation team earlier this year, HHD is strengthening their foothold as a progressive and dynamic firm.

Commenting on the promotion Michael Hollywood said that "this offers the firm the opportunity to grow and further develop the range of specialist services to clients. Fiona's strength in dealing with difficult medical issues and highly sensitive matters will continue to provide immense value to our wide client base. We look forward to her continued success especially in this very complex area of law".
