HHD solicitors take part in the Boys Model Focus on the Future Careers Event

Higgins Hollywood Deazley Solicitors were delighted to take part in a "Focus on the future" careers event at the Belfast Boys Model School on Wednesday 5th April 2017. This was an excellent opportunity for us to talk to the Year 11, 12 and 13 pupils about a career in law and the role of the legal profession in society. The students asked us to describe a day in the life of our role and outline the qualifications that are needed to become a solicitor and why we chose this career. This was a very successful event and we thoroughly enjoyed meeting the pupils and sharing our knowledge and experiences.

The Inquiry into Hyponatraemia-related deaths was set up by Angela Smith, Minister with responsibility for Health, Social Services and Public Safety under article 54 of the Health and Social Services (Northern Ireland) Order 1972 after allegations that mistakes had been made by hospital staff administering intravenous fluids.
