What happened: Pedestrian crossing road involved in single vehicle accident

How HHD solicitors helped: Our client was a pedestrian crossing a public road in Belfast when he was knocked down by a single vehicle. His ankle was trapped under the vehicle when it came to a stop. Our client was taken from the scene by ambulance to hospital where he underwent surgery on his leg.  Our client sustained further injuries to his neck, back and hip.  We subsequently processed our client’s claim for compensation against the defendant’s insurance company. This included having our client medically examined to consider the extent of his physical and psychological injuries and compensation was recovered.
