What Happened: Our client, a minor sustained a minor laceration to his face from a broken railing enclosing a grass play area.
We were instructed to prosecute a claim for damages arising from negligence and breach of statutory duty on behalf of the Defendant with regards to their maintenance, safekeeping and repair of the accident locus.

Proceedings were brought before the County Court. On foot of negotiations with the Defendant’s legal representatives our client was awarded the sum of £7,500.00 in respect of his injury which was approved by the Court.
