At this time we would like you to meet our solicitors and staff who are working remotely to deliver services in our usual professional and efficient way.

Nan Mallett – Nan joined the firm in 2009, following a long career as a legal secretary and Office Manager in a city centre firm. In 2011 she graduated from Belfast Metropolitan College with a CIPD Diploma in Human Resource Practice and in 2013 obtained the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) Level 5 Diploma in Management.  She is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) and a Chartered Member of CMI.

She has achieved the ultimate accolade in management by becoming a Chartered Manager. As well as making sure everything is running smoothly on a daily basis, other roles include liaising with the partners, Human Resources, recruitment, health and safety and facilities.  She also assists with marketing and business development and would be the point of contact for any third parties wanting to establish a working relationship with the firm.

Nan also played a leading role in the firm obtaining Lexcel accreditation, a legal excellence award for law firms and also attaining Investor in People status.

In recent weeks due to the Coronavirus pandemic and restrictions within Northern Ireland, Nan has been organising the office and supporting the staff and partners remotely from her home. The photo attached is one of Nan’s beloved dogs named Riley sitting with his head on Nan’s legs whilst she is working away.  He is only happy when he is beside Nan or another family member and so he is in his element having Nan at home all day. Riley’s ball is usually under Nan’s feet in the hope that she’ll kick it for him. #kicktheballforRiley
