Francesca O’Hara advises and represents clients across a wide range of criminal matters, guiding them confidently from police station interviews all the way through to court hearings. She regularly handles serious and complex cases, bringing a strategic and dedicated approach to ensure every client receives the best possible representation.
Francesca graduated with First Class Honours in Law from Manchester Metropolitan University in 2021. She then completed her professional training at the Institute of Professional Legal Studies earning a Commendation for her outstanding work.
Before joining HHD Solicitors, Francesca gained valuable experience working in Family and Civil Law at several well-regarded high street firms in Belfast. She started with us as a Paralegal in June 2023 and quickly progressed, beginning her solicitor training contract in September 2023. Francesca is now a fully qualified Solicitor focusing on Criminal Defence.
Known for her clear communication and client-focused approach, Francesca understands how stressful criminal proceedings can be and works closely with each client to explain their options and support them throughout the process. She takes the time to listen to her clients’ concerns, providing them with a sense of reassurance and ensuring they fully understand their legal rights. With a deep commitment to achieving the best possible outcome, Francesca combines her legal expertise with a compassionate and personalised approach to guide her clients every step of the way.
Francesca is a member of the Law Society of Northern Ireland the Belfast Solicitors Association. She is also a Belfast Representative of the Law Society’s Women’s Network.
