In the current unusual times we look back to 9^th July 2019  when we celebrated International Plastic bag Free day at HHD. We recognised that we have a responsibility to address the environmental issues that jeopardise the earth’s ecosystems and the future of our communities. We are committed to minimising our impact on the environment and to protect our planet and ensure resources are available for future generations.

As part of this initiative in July 2019 we handed out cotton shopper bags to all staff, stakeholders in our local community and other support organisations.

This simple step was taken in conjunction with our other measures to reduce our carbon footprint and that of our staff.
