HHD Solicitors Partner, John O’Kelly, in his role as Chair of the Belfast Solicitors Association recently took part in a meeting with representatives from the Law Society of NI.
The meeting brought together members of the BSA and senior representatives from the Law Society. HHD Solicitors was also represented by Eimear O’Donoghue who attended in her capacity as a BSA Committee Member.
Discussions covered a range of important topics affecting the legal profession, including access to the profession, remuneration and ways to better support solicitors working outside private practice. The session also provided an opportunity to reflect on recent developments and ongoing priorities within the profession.
As Chair of the BSA, John welcomed the opportunity for open and constructive discussion and engagement on matters impacting solicitors across Northern Ireland.
